Answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding counseling
How do I schedule a counseling appointment?
If you’d like to schedule an appointment, or if you have any questions, you can call our office at 951-774-1367, send us a message through our contact form or email us at email@example.com.
When are you available for sessions?
Appointments are available:
Mon - Thurs 9am - 7pm
Fri 9am - 6pm
Sat and Sun 9am - 2pm
We offer in-office counseling sessions as well as video or phone counseling sessions.
What is your rate for counseling sessions?
Our rate for a standard 50 minute session is $100. Payment is required at the end of each in-office counseling session, and before session begins for video or phone counseling. We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash, Paypal, and Apple Pay.
Do you take insurance?
While we do not accept insurance as a direct form of payment, it is possible for your session to be covered by your personal insurance, partly or in full, under your “out-of-network” benefits. If you would like to use your insurance for your counseling sessions, we can provide you with a Statement for Reimbursement form (also called a Superbill) for you to submit directly to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement.
To determine if you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call them. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand their answers. Some helpful questions you can ask them:
* What are my mental health benefits?
* What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
* How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
* How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
* Is approval required from my primary care physician?
